May has been another massive month at LiteracyPlanet and we’ve had a ball bringing our program to schools around the world!
Here are a few highlights from the month of May.
Chicago Literacy Alliance Fundraiser
The LiteracyPlanet US team was busy this week sponsoring the Chicago Literacy Alliance’s (CLA) annual One for the Books event. One for a Books features a showcase of rare literature, with select items available by auction. The event raises money for the CLA which does incredible things to improve the functional literacy of Chicago residents. We’re proud to support such an incredible cause.
Brand new LiteracyPlanet website!
You also might have noticed our main LiteracyPlanet site has a bit of a new coat of paint! We wanted to make it easier for our schools to locate useful information about our program and how it works. Make sure you have a bit of a click around and tell us what you think! You can see how schools in the US are using our program in the case studies section here, or take a look at the different features of our program.
LiteracyPlanet at BETT Brasil
BETT Brasil is one of the most important events on the EdTech calendar. This year over 22,000 education professionals visited the Transamerica Expo Center from 230 leading companies. Showcasing our product’s new features is always a highlight, and we had some great conversations with fellow educators about the ways we can help support the development of English literacy in South America.
Training educators in Vietnam
The LiteracyPlanet team also visited Hanoi to provide in-depth product training for Victoria Education. We love showing our product to educators around the world and it was great to provide passionate educators in South East Asia with the tools to improve English literacy.
Visiting schools in South Korea
The LiteracyPlanet team also popped into Seoul, South Korea to meet with our partners EduVantage and talk about ways we can further provide LiteracyPlanet to schools in South Korea.
More to come!
The LiteracyPlanet team is always on the move and odds are we won’t be too far from your school in the near future! If you’d like to know when we’ll be in your area next, just click here and someone from the team will be in touch.
